MedStar Harbor Hospital Names 2012 Associates of the Year
Nurses Honored During Annual Nurses Week Celebration

BALTIMORE—MedStar Harbor Hospital recognized three members of our nursing team as 2012 Associates of the Year during the annual Nurses Week celebration. MedStar Harbor celebrated Nurses Week from May 7 to May 11, organizing games, prizes and other activities to honor our nurses for their hard work and dedication.
On Thursday, May 10, participants gathered to show respect for their teammates at an awards ceremony held in the waterfront Baum Auditorium. MedStar Harbor President Dennis W. Pullin and Vice President of Patient Care Services Lenora Addison, RN, led the tribute with a presentation of our nominees. Congratulations to the following, named MedStar Harbor’s 2012 Associates of the Year:
Nurse of the Year - Penny Martin, Operating Room
Care Associate of the Year - Annabel Brooks, Telemetry Unit
Unit Secretary of the Year - Sarah Groves, Surgery/Pediatric Unit

For more than a century, MedStar Harbor Hospital has grown alongside the communities it serves in Baltimore City, and Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard counties.
