Harbor Hospital Named 2006 CareScience Select Practice Customer Quality Leader

BALTIMORE—Jan. 3, 2007—Harbor Hospital announced this month that it was named as a 2006 CareScience™ Select Practice Customer Quality Leader in overall clinical outcomes in the area of Medically Managed Acute Myocardial Infarction (heart attack).
CareScience Select Practice Customer Quality Leader reports recognize a combination of superior clinical outcomes and exceptional efficiency in patient care when compared to approximately 200 other CareScience customers patient care results. Hospitals achieve this recognition by ranking in the top 16 percent on both quality and efficiency in one or more of the clinical quality areas. For the 2006 CareScience Select Practice Customer Quality Leader Awards, CareScience looked at eight disease-specific categories.
