Golf Performance Enhancement Program

 Learn more:

The golf performance evaluation is a comprehensive physical examination performed by a licensed physical therapist specializing in a synthesis of information from Back to Golf©, Kinetic Golf© and Body Balance for Performance ©. Our therapists are experienced in sports-specific training programs, functional stabilization, conditioning and kinesiology. They also have experience treating golf-related injuries and in rehabilitating athletes of all performance levels.

Evaluations include video motion analysis, testing and measurements of:

  • Posture
  • Balance
  • Flexibility
  • Strength
  • Core stability
  • Conditioning

The information gathered from the evaluation is used to design a customized, golf-specific physical training program that will optimize strength and improve the physical characteristics necessary to swing a golf club properly. The goal of the program is to achieve maximum distance, accuracy, control and scoring potential while decreasing injury risk.

Treatment and follow-up visits are based on the findings of the performance evaluation and the golfer's goals. All participants receive a golf-specific individualized home exercise program.  Other treatments may include myofascial release, joint mobilization, stretching, core stabilization, functional stability training, strengthening and cardiovascular conditioning.

We bring the latest research in training and injury prevention to the golfing community. In addition to individual evaluations performed in the clinic, we also give educational presentations to teams and golfing groups.

For injured runners, we accept most types of insurance.
For uninjured runners, we have a self-pay option.
