Charles W. Davis, M.D., is one of the areas only fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeons, specializing in the treatment of scoliosis and other complex cervical, thoracic and lumbar disorders. He is committed to a patient-centered and conservative approach to spinal pathology.
Dr. Davis earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry with honors. He was awarded his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After medical school he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Maryland Medical System and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. While in residency he gained extensive experience in the treatment of traumatic spinal disorders at Shock Trauma and pediatric spinal deformity at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
Dr. Davis continued his training at the Spine and Scoliosis Center under the direction of Paul McAfee, M.D., one of the nation's premier spine surgeons. Dr. Davis is trained in all aspects of adult and pediatric spine surgery, as well as all areas of orthopaedics.
