Routine Obstetrical Care
Congratulations! Having a baby is a very exciting time in a woman's life. We look forward to caring for you during this special time. It is very important to begin routine visits as soon as you discover you are pregnant. We will track your health and the health of your baby, help get you the supplements you and your baby need, as well as educate you about this extraordinary experience.
Management of Multiple Gestations
Double (or more) congratulations! More and more women are expecting multiples these days, and we are trained to help you manage this unique pregnancy. You will be faced with different challenges both during and after your pregnancy and we can help. We will be here to counsel you throughout your pregnancy, into childbirth and beyond.
Birthing Twins Naturally
Childbirth and Early Parenthood Education
Because of our uniquely close partnership with Harbor Hospital , we are able to refer you to childbirth and early parenthood courses taught by people we know and trust. Courses are offered at both the Harbor Hospital campus as well as the Harbor Hospital HealthPark in Pasadena . We offer three-week, six-week and refresher childbirth courses; breastfeeding courses; sibling courses; and free tours of the Harbor Hospital Women and Infants' Center.
Ultrasound Services
Modern medicine allows specialists to see your baby as it grows inside of you. Routine ultrasounds are typically taken at 18-21 weeks into the pregnancy. Harbor Women’s Care is able to help you schedule an appointment for your ultrasound at a specialist that we know and trust.
Nutritional Counseling
Exercising and eating right are especially important while you are expecting. We can refer you to an expert nutritionist who will plan a diet that to serve your needs and the needs of your child. Your specialist will help you gain the right amount of weight for your body, making it easier to take off the pounds after your baby is born.
