Baltimore—The MedStar Harbor Hospital Total Joint Center is pleased to welcome Tariq A. Nayfeh, MD, PhD. Dr. Nayfeh, a board-certified total joint orthopaedic surgeon, performs minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery and specializes in using the direct anterior hip approach. Dr. Nayfeh also specializes in hip and knee surgery, hip fractures, surgical treatment of joint diseases, total joint replacement and revision, and the treatment of arthritis in young adult and geriatric patients.
Dr. Nayfeh joins MedStar Harbor from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He earned his doctor of medicine and doctor of philosophy in mechanical engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed his surgery internship and residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center and completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Missouri Bone and Joint Center.
Dr. Nayfeh will be seeing patients at the Total Joint Center offices on MedStar Harbor’s waterfront campus and the MedStar HealthPark located at 8109 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
