Pamela S. Williams
Vice President, Human Resources
As the vice president of human resources at MedStar Harbor Hospital, Pamela S. Williams, SPHR, is responsible for the recruitment and retention of all hospital associates. With more than 15 years of experience in HR leadership, Williams is an expert in employee and labor relations, employee survey methodology, employee engagement programming and strategic recruitment.
Williams joined the Human Resources department at MedStar Harbor Hospital in 2002 as an employee relations specialist. Williams rose to assistant vice president in 2003, becoming a member of MedStar Harbor Hospital's executive leadership team where she has served her current role as vice president since 2005.
Williams came to MedStar Harbor Hospital from Sinai Hospital, where she began her career in health care as an employee relations specialist. Prior to that, Williams served as vice president of human resources at Maryland Permanent Bank.
Williams holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and earned a certificate as a senior professional in human resources from the HR Certification Institute.
