Community Education and Family Wellness
MedStar Harbor Hospital offers a variety of programs, seminars and outreach. From free health seminars to our attendance at health fairs and other community events, MedStar Harbor remains focused on the value of providing a wide range of care to the communities we serve.
Seminars
Each month, MedStar Harbor Hospital hosts a number of free health seminars that allow community members access to top physicians in a casual setting.
Screenings
Screenings for high blood pressure, cholesterol, cancer, hearing loss and other health conditions are offered periodically throughout the year.
Childbirth and Parenting Courses
MedStar Harbor Hospital offers a full assortment of women and infants' programs.
Heathly Schools Healthy Families Program
MedStar Harbor Hospital recently launched the Cherry Hill Healthy Schools Healthy Families Program, designed to improve the health and well-being of more than 1,400 students, family members and school staff.

Inclement Weather Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather, MedStar Harbor Hospital will follow the Anne Arundel County school system decision. If schools are closed, or are closing early, all MedStar Harbor Hospital classes and events will be cancelled. A cancellation decision will be made by 1 p.m. on the day of an evening seminar.
